IEEE International Conference on Network Softwarization
28 June–2 July 2021 // Virtual Conference

Welcome to NetSoft 2021

Welcome from the Chairs of NetSoft 2021

The 7th IEEE International Conference on Network Softwarization (IEEE NetSoft 2021) will be held in Tokyo, Japan from June 28 to July 2, 2021 just before the Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games. We are pleased to welcome you to Tokyo Japan!

The theme of the IEEE NetSoft 2021 “Accelerating Network Softwarization in the Cognitive Age” reflects the current trend of research in the area of network softwarization. The IEEE NetSoft 2021 will showcase the latest research and development results including artificial intelligence / machine learning, self-driving and autonomic networking, policy-based network management, dynamic network slice provisioning, among other promising research areas for the sake of robust, reliable and cognitive softwarized networks.

The five-day conference program is planned to offer a variety of compelling sessions. The core of the conference running from June 29 to July 1, will feature inspiring keynote talks delivered by world-class researchers and practitioners. It also includes a Distinguished Expert Panel, technical sessions, as well as demos showcasing prototypes and proof-of-concept implementations of ongoing research. On June 28 and July 2, focused workshops and tutorials will provide the opportunity to deep dive into the most advanced cognitive network softwarization.

The COVID-19 pandemic is still challenging us with social distancing and economic slowdown. We hope that the IEEE NetSoft 2021 will be a great opportunity to recover from the hardship and unite our community. We welcome you to submit your latest research results to this end.

COVID-19 Statement

Important update: IEEE NetSoft 2021 will run as a full virtual conference on June 28 – 2 July, 2021.

The NetSoft2021 organizing committee (OC) is closely monitoring the development of the COVID-19 situation that could impact in-person attendance and paper presentations. In case of travel restrictions, the OC is considering that remote presentations and participation will be considered.

The NetSoft 2021 will be a hybrid event that allows online participation for presenting the paper and attending the conference through a virtual platform. More detailed information is coming soon.
